What was the first language Britain spoke?

The first inhabitants of the British Isles were the Celts, who came from the North. Originally, British people did not speak English; they spoke Celt. The English language is the product of the combination of many languages that came to Britain mainly as a result of the invasions the country suffered. The British were firstly invaded by Angles ,Saxons and Jutes
